Jirongo Under Threat for Exposing State House “Projects”

In a rally today in Busia, Jirongo, a presidential aspirant with United Republican Party (URP) claims that his life is under threat for exposing parties that are being funded by the government. Among the parties he claims are funded by the government are Musalia Mudavandi’s United Democratic Front party and URP’s presidential aspirant William Ruto.

It is not yet clear whether the claims are true, or is a gimmick to counter Musalia Mudavandi who is also on a tour in Busia County. Jirongo claims that many parties that have been formed recently are all funded by the government in an effort to stop ODM’s presidential aspirant, Raila in to ascending to power.
